I am a South Australian based photographer currently studying at the Adelaide College of the Arts. Although still exploring and defining my style through experimentation processes, I enjoy working with the art of still life within the frame. My work primarily works with the concept of the removal of objects from their natural environment, creating displaced and truly engaging scenes. My recent work expands similar concepts through the exploration of portraiture work. I am deeply fascinated by the idea of ‘memento mori’ (the artistic or symbolic reminder of the inevitability of death), and this keen interest influences the darker and eerie themes throughout my work.
